The Intriguing Angkor Archaeological Park
Not only is this park of great national importance to the Cambodian department of tourism, but is also one of Asia’s prime archaeological gems. Spread over an area of over 4000 sqkm, the glorious architectural feats of the Khmer Empire can be witnessed here on an unprecedented scale. Just so you know, this is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and draws in historians in large numbers here. The Cambodian Television Network runs several documentaries explaining the various architectural elements and art forms visible in the ruins here.
Bokor National Park
The biggest biodiversity hotspot of Cambodia, this national park is an abode of a variety of flora and fauna. Since this is located on a hilly terrain, the weather is pleasant all year and the lush greenery acts like a magnet for nature lovers.
